Exclusive wine bottled for Zupan’s market and JC Somers. Grenache and Syrah from the Columbia River Gorge; light melon with a buttery finish. Color is clear with very light skin touch. Excellent Rosé’! — 15 days ago
Big surprise! The scent was floral, violets and perhaps some green herbs. But the first sip… straight pipe tobacco laced by dark blue berry and unripe fig. Where was that jammyness we noticed a few years ago? It drank quite addictive, though. Complex and intriguing. — 6 days ago
This is a tasty Merlot based Bordeaux blend from Washington State.
Full bodied and elegant with medium acidity.
Dry on the palate with a nice mouthfeel.
Showing blue and black fruits with wood, earth, vegetables, spices, herbs, coffee and peppercorn.
Needs time to open up properly, but good right out of the bottle too.
Will continue to age nicely in the next 5 to 10 years.
A blend of 60% Merlot, 34% Cabernet Sauvignon, 4% Cabernet Franc and 2% Petit Verdot. Aged for 18 months in French oak barrels.
14.3% alcohol by volume.
