Unusual blend from micro winery as per JR and indeed a lean and texturally firm wine that went well with food — 3 months ago
The oldest white I’ve had—4 years older than me. Orange hue from aging, no skin contact. Strong notes of honey, oaky. Very nutty. Super unique, fabulous — 2 months ago

The oak has integrated from my previous note in February 2017 where the influence of oak Barriques was overly present. Sangiovese is not enhanced by too much oak in my opinion and is best matured in large Botti like I said in my previous note like Biondi Santi. Red cherry and earth notes finishing with powdery tannins. Coming together. — 2 months ago

Soft. My comparison with the Chilean carmenere is prob unfair given this is 30% Merlot. But it still has that distinctive carmenere taste. Nice fruit. Soft sandy tannins. The Merlot softens this. Very nice wine. — 25 days ago
