San Biagio della Cima

Rossese di Dolceacqua 2019

Wonderful red wine from the hills in front of the Ligurian Sea.
Mediterranean erbs, tangerine, pine resin... lot of things all in a glass.
Unique!

Alta Cima

4.090 Lontué Valley Syrah 2018

A nose of a dusty Kit royale.

The same cassis carries on in the first sips of this heavy handed wine, some sharper bits of jolly rancher blackberry, hint of pomegranate seed. High acidity, chompy tannins at the very end.
A solid wine.

Accornero

Barbera del Monferrato Superiore Cima riserva della Casa Barbera

One of the best Barbera’s of Monferrato together with Braida! Very good juice after 12 years. I visited Accornero in 2010, great producer and lovely people! — a year ago

Reininger

Cima Walla Walla Valley Sangiovese Blend 2012

In the glass this wine is deep dark burgundy with slightly orange-tinged halo. It smells masculine and earthy with hints of pepper, cedar, blueberries and anise seed. The wine goes down easy even with the noticeable presence of rich tannins. The balance is nice, keeping it interesting as the finish lingers. I taste oak-y dark cherries with an aftertaste of black licorice. I think this is some good medicine. I need another dose. — 4 months ago
