Mature with dried fruits. Complex and leathery. — 6 years ago
Elegant violet aromas. Beautifully structured and elegant tannins laced amongst dark fruit notes. Punches above its weight and price point for sure. Delicious find! — 2 months ago
Well balanced medium body Bourdeaux, 2019 — 8 months ago
What beautiful wine. The secondary fruit notes are coming through, some dried fruit, more body. This is still an insanely austere wine. Sea shells, lemons, apples, chamomile, flowers, more apples, orange blossom. It’s just so much better with the fruit tasting older. So glad I experienced this over a few years to see how champagne evolves. 2015 harvest, disgorged jun 2019, no dosage. — 9 months ago

Juicy and still with plenty of life. This is drinking perfectly.

We thought this would give the Comtes a run for its money, it did not. Same year and we were all disappointed. Was it the year? The bottle? Something else? Something muffled the incredible flavor profile of this champagne - trying it again 2 hours later it was better, but still a far cry from the Comtes. We’ll have to try that again soon to determine whether we just had an off bottle — a month ago
2016. Still feel young. — 2 months ago
The description: Fleur d’Eglantine gets its name from its acidulous freshness and its luminous colour, reminiscent of the petals of the wild roses that surround our vinyards. It’s a delicate rosé, airy and acidic, which unites floral aromas and crunchy red berries. Grape Grenache mixed with Mourvèdre and a dash of Syrah
The opinion: Superb really good value drinking. Great depth and texture for the price. Off to buy some more. — 5 months ago

Opened about 90min prior to service; enjoyed over the course of a few hours. The 1998 pours a deep garnet/purple with an opaque core; medium viscosity with moderate staining of the tears. On the nose, the wine is just entering the transition from developing to vinous, with notes of ripe black plum, Montmorency cherry, purple flowers, cocoa, tobacco, dried herbs, fine baking spices, a touch of leather, some organic earth and minerals. On the palate, the wine is dry with medium+ tannin and medium+ acid. Confirming the notes from the nose, the finish is long and the texture is almost like velvet. This is a delicious wine that seems to be just getting started. Considering the amount of fruit and structure still present at 28 years old, I expect a very long life yet ahead. Drink now with some air, through 2068. — 4 days ago
