Ok but a tad to one dimensional for me, tannic and bright. — 5 years ago
Grapefruit yes, floral yes, acidity yes, delicious yes.
But not what our group was expecting, perhaps that is our fault, perhaps some of that is on the somm as we described what we wanted out of the wine.
I was thinking this, somewhat like a Guigal Condrieu, would have some more weight and richness and would stand up to our mains better but it didn’t shine.
This was more restrained than anticipated. — 5 years ago
I drank the whole bottle, shared a little splash for my wife but couldn’t keep my hands off this wine.
Supple and clean, I find Merry Edwards to be a little more even handed with oak then some of the other RRV producers.
Glad I have 3 more to enjoy!!!! — 6 years ago
Great perfumed wine, lavender. — 4 years ago
Quarantine treat! Wasn’t expecting this to be as good as it is.
Full force.
Resolved tannins and still mouth coating, fresh ripe red berries. Touch of acidity, little sense of oak, perfectly in balance.
No idea when or where I got it but man I want more. — 5 years ago
Juicy and still with plenty of life. This is drinking perfectly.
