Clos du Paradis Chardonnay Blend 2014

Vintage 2014 | made from Auxxerrois by Abi Duhr. Big, big surprise! This stood out next to a archetypical Chardonnay from Chassagne-Montrachet. Appealing nose with butter, pear and minerals. Great balance. Fine food pairing with potted shrimp. By far the best wine I have had from Luxemburg. Only 500 bottles made in a year, this is certainly a wine to search for. — 7 days ago

Loudoun County Tannat 2011

Incredibly good for 2011!! Spot on varietal correctness and quite nice balance from the deft touch in the cellar/crush pad. Bravo Maggie and Mark!! — 19 days ago

The Prince In His Caves Farina Vineyards Sauvignon Blanc 2015

Great wine. One bottle became two. Skin contact or slightly orange sauv blanc. Great. Savory and just a touch sweet. — 9 days ago

Reserva Quinta do Poço do Lobo Cabernet Sauvignon 1995

Fantastic wine with loads of Cabernet goodness! 25 years old and drinking beautifully right now. Tannins were smooth and mellow, fruit was still fresh, and acid was just right. What a treat! — 21 days ago

Light body, chocolate & berries. A lovely drinkable Pinot Noir. Though young. Great for the price. — 7 days ago

My last bottle, and tonight it performs very well. Maybe it’s just sentimental.
Ripe red and blue fruits, with round and mouthwatering acidity. The body is lush and viscous. Long bitter sweet finish.
