Dairyman Vineyard sits in the southern alluvial plains of the Russian River Valley near the ocean, a region where cooling fog comes in through the Petaluma Gap in the morning and once again in the evening. Bright Ruby, some purple edges, with aromas of ripe berries and baking spices. On the palate flavors of raspberry and black cherry with herb, cedar and cinnamon. Smooth fine tannins, medium+ finish with lively acidity, great structure, ending with fruit and cedar spice. A Fav! — 25 days ago
Big and bold Pinot! Deep purple/garnet color. Aromas of cooked black berry/raspberry, purple flowers, black licorice and pepper spice. More black cherry and blueberry fruit on the palate with notes of dark chocolate, baking spices and maple. Quite rich, concentrated and viscous. Velvety tannins and moderately low acidity. Big Pinot! — 9 days ago
Probably at its peak. Fairly ripe for PN, definitely a steak wine. But drinking very well with a little age on it. Paired it with chicken dick. Not ideal. Whaddayagonnado — an hour ago
Deep Ruby color with aromas of red fruits, floral notes and spice. On the palate flavors of cherry and raspberry with cacao, floral, espresso and cinnamon spice. Full-bodied, fine tannins, medium finish ending with fruit, spice and an earthy character. — 23 days ago
I will start with I was impatient and didn’t decant and consumed within 2 hours. So I didn’t really give this a fair chance to broaden. It was nonetheless very enjoyable but definitely muted. Lots of earth and depth. Fruit is buried but perhaps if I had been more accommodating it would have emerged more boldly. Solid old world PN. — 17 days ago

I like Liason in all shapes and sizes and 2020 has a lot to say without any pointy angles.
It's the one with a heavier hand, in cloudy maroon velvet sweats. Brighter and overt, the loyalists might miss some delicacy.
That familiar natty nose, with rolling perfumed volatility and stemmy, woodsy notes. Textured, syrupped, candied sweet cherry and rosemary for a mixed cocktail. — 5 days ago
