Great combo but both a bit disappointing in their own way. Chambertin too much fruit not enough depth, Musigny quite light, great nose not followed by a great taste. Needs time to develop but still not meeting expectations.

Very dark color , classic pure ripe black cherry nose , well balanced on the palate with great fruit and acidity, long aftertaste . Oak is well in the background , this is a great young Pinot that will age into a stunner, rated 9.8 because it will be even better once cellared
