Enjoyable Sercial. It was better when first opened and golden in color, when it had a nice nutty flavor. It evolved over a number of weeks to a redder color and lost its nutty flavor. There is a nice balance between sweetness and alcohol, making this a dessert wine that is not cloying. — 7 months ago
Medium gold in color. Medium intensity on the nose. Acetone+++ from oxidative aging, honey from aging, banana peel, orange peel, green plum ~ Japanese plum wine, orange blossom. High acidity, medium finish. Medium dry. Fortified high alcohol. Green plum, caramel, dried citrus on the palate. Flavor intensity - medium. Medium body. — 3 years ago

Madeira is always a little bit bitter. No different here. It’s still good, but I like port more. — 7 months ago
Briny, nutty, dried ginger/apricot. Round and creamy on the palate. Bitter nuttiness on the finish. Medium finish. Fresh tangerine and nectarine. Canteiro method. 13 years in American oak. — 3 years ago
So much like brandy but so good. Light sweetness and a whiskey-like finish. Our first Madeira ... great introduction. — 8 months ago
Had this wine awhile ago with family and friends could not find the picture thanks to my brother for the wine — 2 years ago
