N: Golden raisins, caramel, oak, vanilla,
Seemingly unlimited depth. Lots of volatile esters. This is day 2 open. More expressive than upon initial opening.
P: interesting salty brine dominates, wood, lacquer, fruits are subservient.Long finish.
Very old fashioned and fortified to 18° — 7 days ago

Walnuts and hazelnuts. Still some of that saline character too. — 23 days ago
The Pasadas are a particular favorite of mine. Funkier manzanilla, and with a heavy winter coat of flor, even more.
N:Salt water taffy, salt water, almonds, while flowers.
P: Bone dry, achingly so, not even a hint of wood, all seashore grass and pith. Hinting at fruit. All it’s own. — 5 days ago
100% Pedro Ximenez from vineyards in Moriles Altos, one of the top areas within the Montilla-Moriles appellation. Vines are rooted in albariza (tosca hojaldrada) soils. Aged for an average of 3 years under flor in the solera system and bottled en rama (unfiltered). Intense nose with notes of toasted almonds and yeast. Sharp, very dry and saline on the palate. A very powerful and sapid, quite persistent wine. Umami 💣 — 18 days ago
Figs, chocolate cover raisins, caramel, sweet tobacco. So yummy!! — 23 days ago
