This wine is composed of 56% Merlot, 23% Syrah, and 21% Cabernet Franc. The longer it stayed in my glass, the better it tasted. It has pronounced aromas of dark plum, dark cherry, and blackberry, along with a hint of pepper and some spiced herbs. Soft, lots of cherry/ prune. Little sour too. I’ve had this with tomato based dishes and it’s nice. This time I made orriechieti, raab, and chickpeas. ( and a few cherry tomatoes). Went well with it. Enjoyable — 17 days ago
