Having this 2022 with a Montreal grilled pork chop and a fresh local tomato basil mozzarella salad and it has been one of the perfect pairings of all time. The wine is a little young but comes into its own with the pork. Black petrified forest stones with just picked raspberries and tart morello cherries. A hint of Bret in the background which enh the interest without ever competing with the fruit and wet stones. Outstanding with at least 4 years ahead if it — 20 days ago

This wine is drinking very well now after some years of ageing. Fruit depth of dark raspberry and cherry, a bit of smoke, pleasant herbs and a bit of oak. Good complexity and intensity, Lapierre lives up to its status on this one. — 2 months ago

@Peter van den Besselaar, I’ve purchased a few of these (mostly 2011, 2015), for some reason in California they don’t sell through at full retail pricing, and I can grab a few at 2/3 retail, or less, and I’ve always enjoyed them.
