It has a generous nose, with dark red & black #cherry notes tethered to a #palate that is sumptuous & savoury, the latter something found in every #wine he makes. Love the #savouriness, #acidity & gripping #tannin structure of his #redwine offerings. — 11 years ago

one of my favourite #wines from a favourite #vineyard by a #favourite #winemaker. nice way to segue from #winework to #wine #enjoytime on a #wednesday #night in #hakuba #nagano #japan. the #vino, mmm, so #tasty. nice herbaceous notes with subdued fruit & a long, savoury finish. neither a #cahors nor #mendoza style of #malbec yet it has traces of each, with more balance, greater depth & that savoury finish I love about Duane's #booze. — 11 years ago
