Ripe #cherry #plum and #darkchocolate notes with #spice #pepper finish. Soft tanning and bright acidity, reminding me of #pinotnoir but spicier and earthier — 7 years ago
#williamette #pinot at its finesse - intense #redfruit #cherry, #rosepetals on the nose with hint of#pepper and #leather finishing, mild tanning #highacidity #easytodrink. perfect to serve slightly chilled on a crisp #summer night — 7 years ago
Easy to drink light red for summer #summerwine lovely #cherry , #licorice faint tannins. T cutter a bit too thin than I would like, compared to a burgundy Pinot — 6 years ago
2015. Youthful, intense #cherry note at first finishing with #blackpepper #herb and #leather. bright acidity. Perfect to go with a #spicy chili rubber #roastedchicken or on its own. — 7 years ago
Had the 2015 tonight. On first sip, aromas of #bouquet on the nose, #cherry #plum #strawberry notes, medium tannin #dryred, medium alcohol. #highacidity finishing up #peppery and hint of #leather. #youthful and #easytodrink on it's own. Perfect for chill mid spring day. One caveat on deacons sip - the texture is somewhat "thin" compared to other #beaujolais from #morgon or #fleurie and to me , that's less interesting :/ hence it is at lower price point. Still good quality for the price tho — 8 years ago
Juicy #berry #cherry notes, good for a warmer spring day with my 90% cocoa #darkchocolate — 7 years ago

Right from the start when you open the bottle and smell the cork, you will get the smooth oaky scents that are entangled throughout the wine.
Pour a bit of wine into a glass and swirl it around and around. Now take your nose to the glass and that rich oaky and vanilla flavour will pleasantly fill your airway.
Okay let’s get to the good part and sip, sip, hooray!
Swish, swish, bish and down the hatchet we go.
This wine will send you a slow yet full bodied flavour of cherries and spices then will develop into a man interesting deep tobacco and smoky aftertaste. This smoke flavour reminds me of the sipping Mescal from Mexico.
This wine also has lingering tannins that go well with the lingering taste. Yummmm!
I hope you can enjoy this wine as much as I have! — 6 years ago
