Very old white wine. Golden hue. Smells a bit like golden delicious apples, Bartlett pear, honey and sweetened lemon. Flavors are hint oxidized, but still tart and bright. Plenty of citrus. Lots of tannin. This is adventurous and delicious white. Wonder what it was like closer to 2014. At this stage it’s a bit like my favorite kind of Chardonnay. Smooth and round, but zippy too. — 2 months ago

10/30/23. @39.99 OMG. Very good. Finally broke my top 2. 2019. Got as part of tasting class. Love it then. Loved it now with duck dinner. Complex with a great finish. Need to buy more. If you like smooth with a tasty finish. This is it. — 6 months ago
This 6 year old Pinot Noir from Russian River Valley is drinking very nicely now.
Light ruby in color with medium intensity and a wide reddish rim.
Medium-bodied with medium acidity.
Dry on the palate and fruit forward.
Showing cherries, red candy, blueberries, sweet strawberries, diet cola, light oak, spices, licorice, light herbs, chocolates and black pepper.
This Single Vineyard is good right out of the bottle. Easy drinking and good by itself or with food.
Showing mild complexity with a nice mouthful.
I had it 2 years ago, and liked it better now. Will continue to drink nicely in the next year or two.
I gave it a slight chill and had it all by itself. Spicy and entertaining.
A tiny production of less than 800 bottles. 100% Pinot Noir grapes were aged in (40% new) oak barrels.
14.5% alcohol by volume.
90 points.

At Pesach so glassware was hit and miss. Lots of miss.
This is consistently a marvel of high altitude, no toast(steamed)barrel, various wood Nebbiolo.
After 10-15 mins open the nose is like the most intense, ethereal fraises de bois. Intermingled with fine rocks and wood. Bright!
On the palate, it’s redolent of high altitude tiny berries, transparent and lively, gripping your lower front gums with a hint of licorice.
The only issue may be finding the generosity to share it.
