Second take on this one because I really enjoyed it the first time and we even went back to buy a couple of bottles to bring back home. Previous notes stand and we had it with food this time around and it works super well with white meat cooked on the grill and light summer veggie and salad dishes. Chardonnay sur lie 2018 / Winnica Wzgórz Trzebnickich

A curious nose made of lemon, limestone, a creamy thing, hay too. It smells like a chablis and muscadet cross over. The palate is well made with a strong acid backbone, lemony and creamy touches all along the backbone, some minerality too and a iodine, salty dimension. The finish is rather short with iodine and lemon and that creamy stuff. Very good effort! — 7 years ago
