Off dry, a bit on the sweeter side, caramel notes like Coca-Cola, not super fruity. Not so much minerality for Mosel. — 2 years ago

Just what you would expect from a 37 year old vintage port. — 9 months ago
Faulty cork may have contributed to muted, slightly oxidized, nature of this bottle, but there’s still some killer acidity and sweetness in there — 3 years ago

I adore this vineyard and am so happy to be selling it. Until this bottling never had any except Knebel. Stunning nose. Full of lower model opulence and minerality plus the bruckstuck funk. Yellow fruits and flowers abound along with a striking herbal element. Unreal nose. Palate is dense and chewy but light as a feather with perfectly judged opulence. Amazing acidity and so complex. Balanced and extraordinarily long and textured. Stunningly purity and grip. Wow. — 3 years ago

Should I die one day, revive me with this!
The acidity, energy & tension will bring back anyone. And the exotic sweetness will lull you into warm bliss.
Grilled pineapple, sweet peach, grapefruit zest, juicy limes and warm slate - all this packed into a filigrane, poised frame.
Only Mosel can do this. And in 2019, it’s sublime!
