Nose: gorgeous. White flower. White cherry flower. So perfumed.
Palate: so silky. Terrific balance. White cherries. Maybe lacks some zing. Very 3 decades ago spatlese.
Should be terrific in 15 years.
Fuck the zing. A wine of elegance. Gorgeous.

Nose is classic GB. Richness, melon, slate, matchstick, creamed corn (garmanbozia!) custard, herbals, cantaloupe, dusty tree bark, spices and more. Palate is so intense and so concentrated with pulverized rock minerality and it’s so refined, so elegant and so pure. Huge lemon lime fruit and even some sweet green apple and dehydrated green apple skins. Impossibly complex and just that pulverized rock minerality. Unreal density without weight and such power and grace. Crazy acids and such breath on the fanned out finish. Young but such a stunner. Wow. So intense. One of, if not the best, GB. — 5 months ago
Classic mosel kabinett
Nose: airy. Mineral. Green apple.
Palate: perfect kabinett fruit. Green apple. So crisp. Like the first bite of an apple.

First time with this bottling and I have deep regrets about buying only four bottles. The acidity is extreme. It swallows the residual sugar, leaving just a hint of sweetness, though the sugar makes the fruit burst on the palate and gives the wine density. Shockingly concentrated and intense with salty, mineral depth and a very long finish. This is closer to a generous Grosses Gewachs than my conception of a Kabinett. Thrilling wine! @Lyle Fass is this typical or an anomaly of the vintage? More importantly, do you have anything like this to sell me? — 9 days ago
