Love this. It's crisp and refreshing. It's what I want to have when it's hot. It's sweet but not like Moscato dasti — 4 years ago

Nice Syrah, lots of depth and character, front and middle are lovely, back end resolution nice but not perfect balance for me. I don't know that a 100% syrah can ever resolve in perfect balance for me. That said, it is better than good. Hefty, dark ruby, swagger. Watch out.. she bang: 15.7%. Big enough that it doesn't taste hot though — 5 years ago
We had the 2010 Vintage on 9/10-11/20. A very good CndP. Black cherry, plum and spice on the palate. A real good earthy spice on the bouquet. Smooth, fruit forward. Bought at the The Wine Watch — 6 years ago
So much better the next day — 7 years ago

The 2016 Syrah Watch Hill Vineyard is dense, powerful and super-concentrated. Inky blue/purplish fruit, lavender, menthol, licorice and spice notes are all amped up in this rich, beautifully resonant Syrah. Dollops of Viognier add brightness and floral top notes, but the Watch Hill remains a pretty big, yet nuanced, wine. (Antonio Galloni, Vinous, September 2018) — 8 years ago

For a wine of this caliber from Warner Springs, California, incredible. Dark cherry, spice, wet clay. This is a wine to experience given the location of its source in the back country of San Diego County. — 3 months ago
