Rutherford Cabernet Sauvignon

Surprised this was available in the luxury suite to watch another Padres loss....and out of a plastic cup too. AAA quality baseball and sub par stems and it still performed extremely well. My first exposure to Hewitt and I liked it a lot. Full bodied, extracted blackberry and clove with nice round edges.

Superb. A well balanced mouthfeel with firm tannins supports an explosive pallet of deep bramble, cocoa, dusty forest floor, and light spices. A quintessential example of California Cabernet. Definitely partake if the opportunity arises.

Will be fab in 5 more years

Had the same bottle 3 weeks ago that opened up nicely. This stayed closed even after aeration and 6 hour decant. Darn...

I’m sorry I lied to you all. I rated this 93 pop n pour and this is a solid 95 after three hours open.

Big cab, dark berries, long finish. Needs a decant

Dusty nose, dusty fruit, dusty tannins....delicious!....
