Nearly perfect blend of red fruit (plum) and blackberry, but slightly too tannic Pinot Noir at Vino Volo at Logan Airport — 8 years ago
Pleasantly funky! Blend of Syrah (50%) with the balance split between Garnacha and Carinena (Samso). Aromas of bright brambly red berry fruit, cigar leaf and iodine. Just a touch of Brett. Red berry fruit and beef jerky with a touch of black coffee and dark chocolate on the pallet. A slightly spicy finish. Lacking a bit on the mid-pallet a bit but there is such a great balance of acidity, tannins and alcohol that it can be overlooked. A nice little find recommended by Chris at the Vino Volo in DFW! — 4 years ago
This Margaux Bordeaux blend (Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon) has fine tannin low acid, dark cherry notes and tobacco finish, at Vino Volo at Terminal E at Logan Airport, Boston — 6 years ago
Honeysuckle, sweet and dry. Floral finish. — 8 years ago
Light bodied and delicious. At vino volo on my way to PDX. — 8 years ago
Still a rather intriguing bottle of wine. This wine has got a rather interesting nose of mint, raspberry, herb. The entry is dirty raspberry, mulberry, green olive. Gets softer in the middle. Raspberry, fig, mushroom in the middle. The finish is where this one gets a little raucous. Green grape stem, hint of green bell pepper, oregano, and lots of brambly black cherry, acidic finish that was more apparent in the first hour, but settled down in the second hour. Bottle was gone very quickly. My inventory of this wine was +2'ed on the latest trip to Napa, and is available at the Sacramento International Airport Vino Volo as we speak. — 9 years ago

Amazing Moscato D’Asti, not too sweet. — 5 years ago

Had a glass of this at Vino Volo in the Pittsburgh airport and I have to say, it did get me wondering why I don’t drink Cava more often! Quite creamy and fruity. Paired nicely with their popular salmon crostini things. — 7 years ago
I was surprised to see this at the Vino Volo in STL; lucky us. Dark brambles, figs and black pepper with a whiff of barnyard funk. Drank half and took the rest with us to DCA. The next evening it was still drinking really well. Delicious stuff. — 8 years ago

7 years old and still a pup. Another Vino Volo DTW pick-up. Fruit is very prominent and there is a slight black licorice note that hangs on for a few seconds. — 8 months ago
