Holy Fuu… so good! Bast Napa valley chard we have ever had. Like a puligny or chassagne 1er. A deft hand made this. — 8 days ago

Mendocino Chardonnay 2016

Spiced baked apple and a rich palate, but with enough freshness to balance. — 5 years ago

Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir 2020

Beautiful wine, evolves over hours. There’s some barnyard, cherry, baking spice, strawberrry, something herbal, good acidity that asks for food. Really lovely — a month ago

Maison L'Envoyé

Chateau Vivier Monopole Fleurie Gamay Noir 2020

This is upper level Beaujolais. Depth and texture in spades. Nose has perfectly ripe dark cherries and berries. Spice and crushed granite in the background, and a fresh-baked bread-like note. Deeply flavored (as one might expect from 50-yr old vines), with deep fruit, acids, and stony minerality all working together. Some very fine-grained tannin provides a little chalky feel in the finish. This will last and improve a few more years but is terrific now. — 2 years ago

Domaine des Huards (Michel Gendrier)

Le Vivier Cheverny Pinot Blend 2015

Magnificent Blend of Pinot Noir (dominant) and Gamay. Unfiltered Loire wine "Nature". Very lively nose and mouth, with volume, freshness, juicy fresh fruit (the non-addition of sulfur is felt a lot on this point). Aging brings complex aromas of spices, and discreetly woody. Delicious texture and finish. — 6 years ago

Sonoma Coast Chardonnay 2022

Such a great wine for 40 dollars. Complex, drinkable, tons of flavor. Jasmine, lime, honeysuckle, some stone fruit, some rocks balance it out, not a lot of acidity. Still one of my faves for price in CA. — 8 months ago

Rosé of Pinot Noir 2019

Pale pink-orange, very dry with bright raspberry, lemon, yellow plum and nectarine aromas with subtle violet floral and mineral notes. Crisp acidity with a lightly herbal character. A joyous wine - delicious and a terrific match with food. — 6 years ago

Band of Vintners

Consortium Cabernet Sauvignon 2015

Such a stellar project brought forth by Band of Vintners 👊🏻 Comprised of Mark Porembski, Stephane Vivier, Dan Petroski, Cameron Hobel, Barrett Anderson, Brennan Anderson, and Jason Heller, the BoV pulled strings, called in favors, worked their networks, and utilized their collective winemaking experience to produce this outstanding QPR selection. It’s classic Napa through-and-through with black currant, blackberry liqueur, fresh boysenberry, black cherry, damp violets, coffee, fresh leather, tobacco, and a flawless hint of vanilla and baking spices. This soft and silky offering is dynamite; I’m glad I have more on hand and that it can be purchased right down the road from me. This is a win 💪🏻 — 8 years ago
