I think most are wrong about this wine. The carbonic is well integrated so that it can cellar for short stint. My bottle has been open for a couple days allowing it to breathe and come to life. Completely under rated — 14 days ago
Produced from the "mosto flor" ("free-run juice") of sustainably grown and hand-harvested grapes. Ya means "yes!" in Spain. Straw yellow with good flow of tiny bubbles and light mousse. Stone fruit aromas with a vanilla nut fragrance. On the palate peach and citrus flavors, good balance, plenty of acidity and lingers nicely. — 4 months ago

This will work with the ribeyes tonight. A really solid Mencia for the price. Dark fruit, leather, some vanilla, wet leaves. Tannic and acidic, great for the fat I'm about to consume.
