Still quite nice with roasted chicken breast. — 3 days ago
This is the Ode to Lulu Mourvèdre Rose (back label says that it’s “ancient vines” grown on sand, so maybe mostly CCC fruit?). The color so pale as to almost resemble a skin contact “orange” white wine. Nose is all fruit. Nectarine, strawberry, an orange-zest thing too. Dry and so gulpable. Dangerous on a warm and humid afternoon! — 8 days ago
Wow. I liked this more than most. Hard alkaline open. Citrus. Dry. Then a little juicy fruit on the way out. — a month ago
Another great vintage.

Unmistakably Central Otago to my palate. Red plums and raspberries. 20% of the grapes were whole bunch. Also aged in 27% new oak. I must mention Neil Martin’s famous Quote, “ Whenever there is a tasting designed to challenge the supremacy of Burgundy, it is usually Felton Road that is ushered into the ring”. Very much on allocation these days and can be difficult to source. — 2 months ago
2024 Vintage is such a great wine! Notes of grapefruit, lime and citrus served chilled on a hot summer evening! Higher priced for weekday wine, but great for a celebration! — 8 days ago
Home vineyard bottling. Dark and brooding on the nose. Classic Central. Dark fruit, savoury spice, earth. The palate has good weight and concentration of dark slightly sour cherry, and wood spice. Enough acid to provide the structure needed to hold the power together — 18 days ago

Writing tasting impressions from memory as it has been many months but wow this was a complex, layered yet lean #marlborough #sauvignonblanc. — 4 months ago
This is always a solid Sauvignon Blanc, drank last night with Matt — 8 days ago
Haven’t had for awhile. So brilliant. Fresh crushed berries, plums, forest, greenery, just on the nose. Palate is similar with some dried rose mixed in. Fresh plums, cherries, so tart, jolly rancher but not quite love this wine. — 12 days ago
This just may be my favorite NZ SB — 21 days ago
I have a cold, but it has a strong, yet enjoyable flavor. I like how dark of a wine it is. — 3 months ago

I find this to be an easy drinker and a good value. Fruit salad- plenty of peach, pineapple, apricots, lemon, and some grass. A hint of tar in the nose.
