Wonderful olive notes and classic — 2 months ago
Nice young yellow canary color. Heavy in the glass. Tropical nose with notes of sea breeze, lemon, kiwi, white stones and tan spice. Glycerol and rich in the mouth. California like, but with nice Chablis nuances. I wonder how this will evolve over next 10 years. Maybe like 92’s? — 9 days ago
Opaque violet color. Highly fragrant cherry and dark berry preserve and olive aromas show outstanding clarity and are complemented by smoky mineral and spice accents. Deeply pitched blackcurrant and bitter cherry flavors convey a suave blend of power and finesse; a pastille flourish adds complexity. Shows impressive energy and mineral thrust on an impressively long, youthfully tannic finish that leaves behind notes of candied flowers and juicy dark berries. One-third whole clusters this vintage. Very fruity as a second bottle. Even with this vintage it’s still heavy cherry. — 2 months ago
”Super premier cru” Tête du Clos is sourced from an old vine parcel in the upper part of Morgeot. Kind of like Chapelot of MDT. Just like the bottle I had in September, it’s electric tonight with killer yellow fruit intensity, a stunningly elegant texture, stony minerality and ripping citrusy acids. There’s such tension and drive on the palate that takes the fruit and minerality all the way home. Love these wines. — 25 days ago

Light lemon yellow . Nice yellow fruits , lemon peel , white flowers . On the palate a bit more extract than expected , yellow fruits , pretty good bracing acidity , slightly mineral saline notes on the finish . Will probably improve for a couple of years at least , a pretty decent Bourgogne Blanc with a bit more structure than expected . — 2 months ago
