Corton-Charlemagne Grand Cru Chardonnay

Nice focus, clarity and length but too woody for me.

The Roulot Meursault was gone so we moved to this guy. Lacked Classic GC complexity but still a joy to enjoy.

Well made, but not my fav style.

Delightful balance if strawberry leaves and not ripe yet apricot with lemon verbena finish. Muted acidity but long.

In great shape: pale straw color, citrus-green apple, slight vanilla/brioche aromas; followed by terrific cut and length. No Botrytis. Just classic dry, clean and sharply focused Corton. Lovely.
