Just a lovely burgundy. At 15+ years this has evened out. Not overly distinctive in any one register, and actually the tannins are definitely still present. But light on its feet with good depth and acid. — a month ago

Color is a little darker than I expected!

Smells like red apple and seaweed…and cured turkey.

Tastes very apple-y, but more of a sweet apple than a tart apple. Some cherry. A little toast and a slight champagne-y quality. Enjoyable. Good deal for the pricier liquor stores in the area I am visiting. 89. — 17 days ago
