Opulent. Buttered popcorn, lemon curd and asian pear with an oily mouth feel. Round. Maintaining some acid with a bitter note on the finish, pretty classic California Chardonnay flavor profile. — a month ago
Medium lemon color with aromas of stone and citrus fruits and nutty toasty notes. On the palate flavors of peach, citrus and pear with vanilla and flinty notes, creamy texture. Medium+ finish, lively acidity, ending with fruit, nuts, toasty oak and savory citrus character. Nice! — 3 months ago
Improved over previous tasting 3 years ago.
Double decant and pour. A light cloudy gold color. On the nose: mellow notes of Lemon, tangerine, banana, nutmeg, grapefruit. Taste: A chalky-creamy, rich mouthfeel wine with pear, lemon rind, little stone fruit, white pepper, oak, and a tropical minerally wet stone medium plus finish. — 12 days ago
Drinking Pinot for Thanksgiving from a vineyard 4 miles away is pretty special! Aged a few years before opening shows a little bricking at the edges with a pale red with orange hue to the color. Big nose bursts forth out of the glass with peppery notes of spiced red fruits, plum and strawberry perhaps, with a slight floral element throughout. The Medium body brings on pleasant notes of vanilla and baking spice, with slight tannin, big plum and ripe red fruits, a hint of brandy and a refined floral element to the finish. — a month ago
Typical nose of an Art Series Chardonnay with that dried pear character. On the medium weight palate a nice combination of ripe grapefruit and under ripe yellow peach. Medium minus acid. One can’t help but love this Chardonnay. A wonderful terroir, the Gin Gin clone, great winemaking, and an excellent vintage - ticks all the boxes. At its peak but enough acid for a few more years if you wish. That was my last bottle of the 2011. — 3 months ago
Baking spices out the gate. Cinnamon. Sour cherry jam. Fresh rain soaked soil in the back. Maybe I should have decanted it but I’m getting a fair bit of heat. Granted after pregnancy and newfound mom life I’m very out of practice. Maybe some strawberry jam. On the palate we have a medium light body juicy, bright red fruit and spice at the end. Slightly sticky tannins. Nice way to celebrate the holidays. An affordable splurge to pair with a cheese board or a lean cut of beef like a fillet. Beef Wellington would be perfect. I festive pork roast would also go well. — 2 days ago
Still delicious and has changed less with age than I expected. Not sure if I should have sat on it longer. It has gotten nuttier with hazelnut becoming more prominent. Still a lot of oak and lemon, with a touch of flint and brioche. It’s — a month ago
Pale golden color, complex aging, 34% new French oak-15 months, 30% stainless-4 months; 18% in Foudre for 9 months; rest concrete egg for 14 months. Aromas of stone fruits, oak, nuts, floral and spice. On the palate flavors of peach and pear with honeysuckle, integrated toasty oak and nice citrus tang. Long finish, ending with a wet stone mineral character. Outstanding! Will age well! — 3 months ago

So impressed with this $23 bottle. Drinks like $60, easily. Lovely aroma of soft caramel leads into baked apples on the mid palate. Nice ripe structure and acidity suggest this will continue as is for a few more years, but why wait? — 5 days ago
