dry and full bodied deep and juicy β 2 months ago
Dark, near black purple with dark magenta mousse. Black grapes on the nose; confirmed on the fizzy, medium palate with ash and fine, dusty tannins. Frizzante bubbles and medium acidity make this an excellent choice for casual red wine fare. Lasagna is its natural pair, but a great match for pizza, chicken parm, or brunch with beef. Drink it when you buy it, of course. β 6 months ago

Deep garnet halo and ruby center. Earthy nose with fig and red fruit notes. Still plenty of acid, even after some decanting. Itβs a 2018 vintage in 2025, so this can age for several more years. Dark cherry, fig, leather, tobacco, and plenty of tannin balance the rather boisterous acidity. Itβs very good now but would be fun to try again in 6-7 years when the acid mellows. β 19 days ago

Blackberries and black cherry cola but deliciously dry, and some soft tannins to give it structure. Not the Mantei Christmas Eve Lambrusco of the past!! π β 13 days ago
