Extra brut. Assemblage base vendage 2017. Disgorged December 2022. Dosage 2g/L. So well balanced. Color is gold. Apricots, some baked apple, minerals galore, a bit of brightness like lime, biscuit. Like a Vendage Tardive. Hints of Botrytis gives a wonderful complexity. 16 years old. Lovely cumquat marmalade, wasabi and olive oil. No hint of oxidation. Unctuous on the palate yet a freshness that is confounding. Incredible length and finish. — 6 years ago

Wowza! This is one interesting and satisfying Riesling. Almost vendage tardive-ish in the nose, which has crushed rock, burnt honey, sweet smoke, apricot, ripe apple, and sweet floral notes. Rich and slightly sweet in the mouth, the flavors are intense, but so is the acidity. Mouthwatering and long. A great Alsace Riesling. — 6 years ago
