A little bit funky. Spicy. Barnyard. Mineral. — a month ago
Tarter and more tannic than ‘21 but somehow maybe thinner? Either way, another delicious wine. — 11 days ago
Buttery, soft, and very earthy with hay. A hint of mushroom and terracotta. — 22 days ago
1/2 hour decant(lots of fine/cloudy sediment). A breathtaking dark magenta color with some bricking. On the nose: Enchanting notes of dark plum, cassis, cedar, herbaceous, eucalyptus, musky, smoke. Taste: silky, savory, creamy, well built classic Napa cab with a little dark plum, graphite, cedar, crushed stone, earth, green bell pepper, and a nice medium plus smokey cocoa tobacco finish. YUM! Sure, on the downside with fading fruit, but still a really enjoyable aged Napa cab. — 18 days ago

The 2023 Kerner is delicately floral in the glass. Sweet spice and candied lime open in the bouquet. Vibrant acidity, saline minerals and tart citrus add a zesty character throughout. The 2023 reverberates with tension through a long, cheek-puckering finale laced with chamomile and lemon zest. $22.00 (Eric Guido, Vinous, April 2024) — 7 hours ago
