So on opening it was weird, kind of funky, not a lot of flavor. Put cork back in and sat in fridge for 3 days, pulled out and let warm up. Tasting great and classic gamay! The ripe black fruit core is lifted by perfumed nose and lively acidity. Silky palate with fine grained tannins, but 15.7% abv does make its present felt on the long finish.
