One of the top 100% Meunièrs. Certainly the best for the money. I have stopped describing wines in a comparison with particular fruits. The flavor of this wine is Pinot Meunier. Full stop. Why should a fabulous Champagne be described from the standpoint of a 50 cent piece of fruit.
Yes it has a white peach note and a wonderful salinity. But it is, in the final analysis, so much more. — 20 days ago
Pinot dominant champagne, with red fruit character. Gentle mousse, bruised strawberry and stone fruit, lees ageing with a long complex fruity note. Sharp acidity, precise finish of apricots and yeast — 4 days ago
Pale gold. Intensely toasty. Dried fruit indicating reserve wine, integrated with fresh fruits - apple, pear, peach, apricot, and strawberry. Creamy vanilla and baking spices on the palate. Elevated to high acidity, dry, medium plus body, pronounced intensity of flavor, the only thing lacking is the finish. — 3 days ago
Meunier 100%. Good aroma and taste with fresh and sour to meet seasonality. @, Vinsenble, 190815 — 5 days ago
From magnum. Needed a decent starter for arrivals and this served that purpose and then some. Nice straw and light gold color. Strong steady stream of bubbles. Notes of green apples, brioche, river stone and saline. Decent finish. (Bday dinner 1/13) — 17 days ago
