Explosive, super expressive nose of white peach and lemon. Really nicely aromatic. On the palate this is on the dryer side, almost severe, with good purity, focus and drive. Citrus themed, with excellent acidity and wicked cut. A bit more flesh on the bones would have moved it from very good to great, but for the price I'm not complaining! 70 / 15 / 15 - CH / PN / PM. 6.5 g/L dosage. 2019 vintage. From a 375ml btl Coravin sample. Absolutely rocking. Shredding on both lead and rhythm guitar. And then the bass and drums with a vintage electric violin flourish. Not the cheapest Merlot expression from Sonoma but likely the best. Built to last. 06.18.25. — 12 days ago
Un Bourgogne dune finesse incroyable. 1990. — 5 years ago
Very easy drinking, excellent vino! Nice big body and very well balanced. The bottle was gone rather quickly. — 9 months ago

+1 hour decant (decent chunky/fine sediment). A gorgeous deep ruby red color with little signs of aging. On the nose: An enticing nose invites you in with Ripe dark fruit, worn leather, potting soil, dark chocolate espresso, minty menthol. Taste: velvety, structured, elegant mouthcoating wine with dark plum/black cherry, dark chocolate, licorice, green bell pepper, minerals, and a cigar leaf/cedar/pepper long finish. YUM! These Verite wines reward patience. Of the 3 Verite wines, this is their Saint Emillion style(cab franc dominates with merlot). — 2 days ago
