Deep and dark. Motor oil and cherry from Syrah. Black and blue fruits from cab. Will improve with age for another 5-8. — 10 months ago
This Duriff (Petite Syrah) is actually produced in the Barossa Valley of Australia. Calabria is the name of family who founded the winery. A powerful and dense wine that is somewhat soft and subtle at the same time. Big aromas and flavors of blackberry, bakers chocolate and vanilla oak. Beautiful structure and depth. Firm grained tannins with a long warming finish. Solid. — 3 years ago
Dark fruit, smooth rich complex tannins. Always a pleasure. $250. — 3 months ago

Wow! Singing. Menthol, berries, hint of cream, herbs, cassis. I am influenced by drinking with the guy who made this wine while listening to him play songs from the album! Still excellent for an almost 20 year old wine. — 4 years ago
