Nose of mushroom, forrest floor, bramble berries, iron. Really nice to see those tertiary notes coming through.
Palate is soft and velvety with red fruit, a touch of sour cherries, some spicy oak notes, and a dusting of fine tannins. Light to medium body.
A very fine, elegant, easy drinking, but still complex G-C. I'm glad we opened this now since I can't see it getting much better. — a year ago

KS, M, C, G. Deep aroma of red berries, strawberry, red pepper, pepper rose, paint, gouache, sour cranberries, cranberries, raspberries, red apple, black berries. Everything is very bright, dense and saturated. Excellent balance - light sweetness, excellent acidity, very good body. Long pleasant fruit aftertaste. A wonderful juicy and stretching wine! — 3 years ago
Better than the 16, not as sweet.

Vintage 2008 / Confession: I am really bad in recognising #tempranillo. So I ‘punish’ myself regularly to taste and drink it 🤨 Today it makes me really happy. A nice roof tiles colour, a smell with spices, warm cooked summerfruit, but above all: E L E G A N C E. Beautiful mouthfeel, satin, smooth. A wine you can easily underestimate, with finesse. Probably I would not recognise it as #rioja tasted blind, it is such a fine wine. Great effort of this Spanish winegrower. / technical: 85% tempranillo 10% graciano and 5% maturana. 30 months aging in French oak barrels. — 2 years ago
