Torre Oria

Pinot Noir Rosé

My favorite wine tastes like juice. With that being said, this is on the semi-dry side and I still love it. Mostly because it does not leave a dry feeling on your tongue. If I like it, it’s gotta be good! — 9 days ago

Palazzo della Torre Veronese Corvina Blend 2018

2018. Amazing notes of berry before tasting. Couldn’t pinpoint exact flavor but very intense. Interesting flavor.

Was able to get the exact same bottle at Miron in Kingston same vintage. $21.99 discounted to $18.69. Very good but didn’t open up with same fragrance as I Italy. May 28, 2022 with Marc and Tim

This wine flies below the radar.
Corvina, Corvinone, Rondinella and a bit of Sangiovese.
Allegrini makes beautiful Amarone but this wine will always impress you

Giocheremo Con i Fiori Abruzzo Pecorino 2019

Pound for pound at this price ($25-ish) this is the best pecorino I can think of that I have had. While Pepe's is the benchmark it's also 6-10 times the price in the US! I drank this a week apart over 3 nights from Coravin and it got better every time I went to it. More expressive and complex each time. Loads of pear, golden delicious apple, honey, minerals and florals, medium bodied but densely flavored, super long in the finish, this is a go to wine for me in my house for Italian whites. — 2 months ago
