A fairly acidic aroma. Smoky, burnt caramel, red berries. The flavour is incredibly rich. Cloves and other warm spices, orange. Gives way to a lovely deep plum crumble finish, lingers a very long time.

Really interesting wine. First impressions are that it’s heavy and earthy; but with time gives way to floral and bright fruit notes. @garagiste purchase - glad I have a few more bottles to explore. — 11 days ago
The characteristic aromas of raisins, brown sugar and dried fruits leap from the nose, while orange peel and notes of wood are found on the palate. There’s a wonderful acidity, so don’t think you can only sip it - try pairing it with dinner like our forefathers did.
