Vendanges tardives, mais équilibré et pas trop dans les sucres — a month ago
Four years since the last bottle. Doesn’t match my previous notes. Very restrained. Faint aromas of cassis and dark berries. Fruit is faint tart plum. Earthy, deep, tannins still prominent and grippy. Will wait another year or two before the next bottle. Still quite good, but needs more complexity to come out. — a month ago
Gorgeous aromas of cherry, sweet berries, an amalgam of spices, stunning earth and a deep penetrating minerality. Very high toned and super bright. Just so aromatic with tremendous depth. Palate is so juicy and silken with just explosive mid and early drain cherry fruit. A supple and alluring texture and sweet but just sweet fruit that really stakes a claim on your palate. Very minimal tannins and extraordinary balance and purity. This is a true ballerina style wine. It’s so nimble but also full of flavor. Has great length and just the right amount of sap. Really fresh and invigorating acidity. Love the texture as well. Really compelling wine. Like e and m but not natural. — a month ago
Alluring nose of woodland spice, tree bark, superb minerality and some dark cherry fruit. Initially palate is raw and young and will need an hour but it’s got sweet fruit, length, suave tannins and excellent length. Very pure. Texture is awesome. Needs air. Will be back.
Now nose has come around. Gorgeous black cherries. Huge deep woodland spices and flowers. Palate is juicy and very complex with terrific freshness and delicacy. Vibrant and in I incisive tannins. Long. — 17 days ago
One of the best Swiss Pinot Noirs. Just a stunning stunning example. Nose is all woodland berries, mountain spice, insane florals and sweet herbals and unreal mountain cherry. So alpine and floral. Captivating and enveloping aromas. Plum skin as well that is so so fine. Stunning purity, breadth and detail the nose. Enchanted forest floor aromas. Keeps changing and changing. Just stunning. 9.6 or 9.7 on the nose. Smell like Grand Cru Burgundy. ZOMG the palate. Insane fruit and sweetness. So sweet and so intense. Wow. Mid to late season red and black cherries. Just so elegant and pure. Suave and chewy but silken tannins and impossible length. Just sickness. So long. Endless. Sappy and noble. There is a very serious and substantial structure here. This is truly amazing wine. Better than the 15. Needs air and I’ll be back. 9.6 for now.
After air the texture on this is truly stunning. So velvety. Amazing sweetened and no hard edges. Nose has so much Burgundian sous bous now and really is in Clos Vougeot territory. Brilliant. An elite wine. This is very close to a 9.7 but not quite. Only age is holding it back now. — a month ago
Nose here has more dimension than the 2017. Spice, insane integrated oak, classier than the 2017. Huge minerals as well. Just gorgeous. A stop you in your tracks nose. Tree bark. Incense. New nuances every 30 seconds. A potpourri. Palate is meta juicy with awesome energy and purity. So delineated and a masterful flavor hierarchy. Gorgeous cherries, elegant and just ephemeral tannins. Long. Compact. Amazing finesse. A stunning, stunning wine. So complex and elegant. A masterpiece and so much better than 17. — 4 days ago

Should have read the back label. Late harvest cider. Too sweet for my personal taste but very well made. — 4 days ago
