2011 in 2019. Farmhouse, butter, soft. Needs another couple years. — 7 years ago
Whoah ! Aged several years this is like a mellow tawny port. Raisins, prune, toffee, and tobacco. Put some of these away in your cellar and forget about them. — 8 years ago
On 12/8/17 at Madison’s at olde Edwards inn for our anniversary. A beautiful jet black wine with a peppery aroma. Flavor carries the pepper into dark fruits and a medium dry oak. Very well balanced all the way through! I would gladly buy a few bottles, but the wine store is closed.. :( — 9 years ago

Yes. Very good. Bought in Maine. Had never heard of Carinane grape before. Very soft, smooth and easy to drink. — 5 years ago
What a Grand Olde Horse this must-have was: even on the down-stroke it was throwing up layers & notions & gems. Cranberries then cherries & al soft, soft, soft. Lovely, this. — 6 years ago

I brought this to the Olde Raleigh wine club. It did not disappoint. I had bought this at the winery in Sep 2022. Amazing. — a year ago
Absolutely delicious. Fruity goodness — 3 years ago
Soft aroma of dusty berries and plums. Plums , raspberries upfront with earthy cherries in the middle. Dusty finish. Non vintage but purchased at the winery in 2021. — 5 years ago
Time to turn on the heaters, whatever you may have..
This is a great wine, and has never wavered from being one that everyone will enjoy, without that cloying and chemical that usually comes with ye olde crowd pleaser.
This is a well made wine, with a nose of animal fat,
This is a medium bodied, pleasant drinker. Calm and precise. Juicy mouth filling fruit, bright, and at the same time lends itself to a darker side of fruit. Light, yet on target, tannins. Low acidity, high Alcohol, yet no heat.

Olde Langhe Signhe? ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ — 7 years ago
This is jammy in a good way. It's such an interesting blend! I was sort of hoping for/expecting a more unusual taste, especially when I saw the 25% petit Verdot, but I suppose the tempranillo does well for subduing the tannin and spice--not in a bad way though. The color is gorgeously deep and purple-y ruby. The tannins that are there are strong yet elegantly woven in. The whole shebang is like a blackberry jam that has savory elements to it rather than sweet. Also I feel this would pair well with walnuts. I don't know why but drinking it gave me that craving. Don’t drink a ton of Napa cab but it’s nice to have a nice one made in a somewhat more restrained style. 13.5%. Definitely young, the air helps - would wait several years or give a big decant. But even without a ton of that still very good with deep berry fruit, oaky dusty tannins that are relatively balanced. Great acid on the long finish. Excellent pairing with steaks and lamb chops at Sammy’s Ye Olde Cider Mill. — 7 months ago
