Primarily Narello Mascalese. Light ruby color with garnet highlights. Lovely aromas of strawberry, minerals and copper. The palate also features strawberries, raspberries, orange and fresh herbs. Hint of Smokey tar on the finish. Medium body and tannins. Beautifully elegant and well crafted. Wonderfully consistent vintage to vintage. Thank you for opening this one, Ron B! — 3 years ago
With the beef course of our niche niche takeout dinner. Cork was funky as hell, a little trouble getting it out. But it fine. Barbecue, fresh pleather on the nose. Menthol, tar, tobacco, not a lot of fruit maybe stewed cherries but hardly. Balanced long finish, nice acidity. Awesome value, this is a solid very mature Margaux. — 6 years ago
Great cru from the Etna, great fruit, cool wine from hot area, altitude delivers the freshness, burgundy style (feels light, but has power), great combo with lamb filet from the BBQ — a year ago
Very nice Sangiovese and Syrah 80-20 blend, 2013, perfect for the better to best Super Tuscan (?) niche. Dark plum red but no big tannins, very soft palate, carefully balanced and almost elegant smoothness...nice aroma and dry, dark berry flavor with medium+ body ...drinkable with anything - a wine for all. My highest compliment...may buy again. — 5 years ago
With niche niche x bistrot Paul Bert covid takeout special. Nose of creek brûlée and raspberry merengue. Still has lively bubbles, underripe strawberry but with like extra sweetness, brioche. Werthers and pop rocks. — 6 years ago

Again a surprise, super budget Costco vino ($8? Back then) that slept for 11 years and it’s drinking fine.m, like a niche aged Rhone with balance and interest. Did better than the Guigal os the same vintage — 4 months ago
