Harmonious blend, not too fruity, mild but pleasing in flavor. Delicate and smooth, producing a happy pairing with charcuterie. — 4 years ago
Originally had at A Pimento wine dinner with the vintner. Opens up beautifully. Lush, smooth, deep wine. Dark fruits a little spice. Got 1/2 price at Kroger - a steal!! — 7 years ago
Minerals, acidity and stone fruit flavors. Went really well with grilled salmon. Bought at Riverdale Vintner. $19.99 — 8 years ago
Vintage 2015 | Rene Pöckl is a magician vintner in Burgenland. Nice, modest and determined to make the best wine possible. This 2015 seemed after ten years infanticide, great structure and a huge promise for the future. Tasted blind next to Errazuriz Don Maximiliano 2015. Win for Pöckl. — a year ago
Grace, elegance. Still young but full of complexity. Balance of red and black fruit with hint of cream and coconut. Better version of Hall. — 6 years ago
It’s great to enjoy the talents of a great vintner. This blend is finely crafted and shows in its smooth sophistication rich flavors and grand aroma. — 7 years ago
Flavors of citrus fruit, body is light, acidity is medium. Went really well with grilled pork chops. Very drinkable. Bought at Riverdale Vintner. $14.99. — 8 years ago
2Q18, magnum, drinking fantastically. Never had anything from this vintner, but was in the restaurant and saw this for a ‘reasonable’ price - as good as you would expect! — 8 years ago
Great red - had with Anaita Pete and Shireen after magic show — a year ago
2019 vintage. Last tasted 08.19.23 (9.5). Still medium heavy-heavy bod. Plushy nose, aggressively undying flavors and brick + mortar structure. Comparable to what it must have been like to see Mozart live back in that day. Confusing. Pure. Beyond mortal comprehension. "It's getting better all the time." 03.08.25. — a year ago
I was very surprised by this wine, it was very good. And it kept very well, and for a long time. It was very good and for a great price. — 5 years ago

Founders Mortal Bloom: Sinister Haze: Hazy IPA
Dark gold leaning into amber with a yellow green aura around white locks. Roosters, snakes and rooster-snakes slither under curtained films and alligators backing off lacings. Sweet nose evokes white cherry and strawberry-kiwi, guava, hibiscus and pineapple, lemon, grapefruit and clementine. Less fruity palate amplifies the citrus with clementine, tangerine and kumquat in the fore and a tsunami of lemon and lemon oil reminding. Lemon grass and lemon verbena beside cannabis and sage. Hoppy happy.
