Fox Hill Vineyard Cortese 2013

JKT
9.0

Another new one, unusual Cali Cortese with 12 years. Color on the yellow amber side and nose with mature notes with a touch of oxidation. Balanced on palate — 11 days ago

Cakebread Cellars

Dancing Bear Ranch Cabernet Sauvignon Blend 2012

Really great. Needs about 3 hours of air. So well balanced. A lot of cocoa, blackberry, garden dirt, some tree bark, some chocolate cherries, but very dark, some menthol in the background, long finish, almost coffee and cocoa, some fruits as well. Outstanding! — 4 months ago

Perfect balance of little tannins, not too sweet or fruity. — 9 months ago

Dancing Hares Vineyard

Napa Valley Red Blend

Didn’t really pop and express itself until about 1 hour in the glass but then it was quite good — 21 days ago

Fox Run Vineyards

Finger Lakes Lemberger 2022

Lemburger can be a bit hit or miss but Fox Run usually coax some deeper flavors out. This one has a nice smoky background along with dark fruits. Probably as god as Lemburger can get in FLX. — 4 months ago

Mahlon Fox Hill Vineyard Arneis

Respects are due to Evan for this! Clean & concise Mendocino arneis that's way too slammable! Good thing the abv is minimal @ 12.2%! — 3 months ago

Durant Vineyard Lark Block Chardonnay 2022

Orchard fruit, citrus.

Like liquid glass in the glass. Glass like precision. Glassiness in its shades.

Delicate. Minerality. Grassy. Herby. Subtle. Lovely.
