Zippy cab franc. High acid and enjoyable with and without food. A bit of barnyard funk on the nose but that doesn’t come through on palate. Blast of acidity on back palate.

Fruitier than I love but will pair well with pizza. Similar to a beaujoulais - backup option at A16 because they were out of the SP68 — 2 years ago
Really enjoyed the wine - crisp, balanced, high acid — serious wine despite the not so serious label. However I broke out in a red rash all over my cheeks and neck after drinking. Not sure if it’s an additive or something in their production facility — will not drink again. Purchased at Verve wine SF — a year ago
Bright, jammy, light body, juicy. Paired well with nigiri once we let it breath a bit. Didn’t steal the show - would def drink again (best paired with food) — 2 years ago
LOVE this - rare Italian varietal. Peaches, high acid, slightly floral / weighty on the mid palate. Lovely — 2 years ago
Super breezy, drinkable chilled red with high acidity. Another fav from Johan - great summer wine. Visiting Jon & Kate, great wine shop find 😍 — 2 years ago
GORGEOUS Chardonnay. Round light feel but crisp finish - didn’t overwhelm the omakase. I don’t know if it’s aged in stainless steel or concrete (my guess) — or neutral oak. No oak flavors at all. Love love love — 2 years ago
Bright on the nose and you expect jammy - but it’s high acid and zippy on the tongue. A *tiny* but of funk on the finish (I dig all of it). Lingers on mid-palate. Unconventional and lovely. Love it - great work, Alex & Subject to Change crew! 🙌 — 2 years ago
Agree with all previous ratings! My first Lagrein - leather, tannins, but with medium mouth feel / enough acid to put a pep in your step. Would def buy — 2 years ago

Gorgeous & bright - limestone and acidity. Drink now, pair with chicken (Zuni chicken fail with Sean — had to get pizza instead 😂🫠) — a year ago
