Call of the Brave Sangiovese Cabernet Franc 2021

I keep coming back to this one. Had it with a spicy chicken and broccoli stir-fry while listening to a live recording of Radu Lupu playing a Bach prelude & fugue (BWV 867). Each made the others more enjoyable. — 13 days ago

Mt. Veeder Cabernet Sauvignon 2016

9.3

Haven’t had this since 2020, so 3.5 years later... Last review included “cherries, cherries, cherries,” and had it at 9.1. This has evolved very well! Chocolate, cherries, and a very nice funk that gives this wine a touch of old world. Big fan! 93-94 — a month ago

Le Brave Cairanne Grenache Syrah 2019

A big surprise, gorgeous yet smooth red Grenache mixed with Syrah. Dry well done. From the old vine, southern Rhône territory, this bottle of cairanne is a must try. Dark fruits with spices, herbs and licorice. Go for it. YOLO! — a year ago
