13’ Antica Terra Obelin Pinot Noir.
Maggie Harrison was the assistant winemaker at Sine qua Non. Decanted it for a hour.
Ruby red in color.
Aromas of ripe red cherry, cranberry, rose, sandalwood, spot of earth. The nose sells this Pinot!
A core of red fruits & ripe cherry. Secondary notes of violets & baking spices throughout the palate. Elegantly styled(somewhat light on its feet) with supple tannins & a robust finish, that builds richness as it opens up in my glass (20 minutes) 🤔.
Had to write about it. Another very well-made wine. Cheers to all. — 13 days ago
Står som Kryddigt och mustigt, men jag tycker det mest var lättdrucket och utan mycket syra. Perfekt med mörk choklad! — 23 days ago
First tasting of a white Grenache. Nice. Constrained fruit and minerals. Good acidity. On Wine Spectator ‘18 Top 100 list with 91 Pts. — 2 days ago
A ”mid range” Priorat from Terroir Al Limit of 4,684 bottles s that we tasted at the winery but much better at home & as good as the 2014 we had a month ago but showing more red fruits & slightly more depth in body but freshener & dryer as it needs a few years 😍 For €53 this is just superb 👏 it screams elegance 💖 Another winner from @gabymeetswine @vilaviniteca

Great, deep pinot. Thought it would be light but was heavy. Almost merlot deep w dark red fruits n almost blue fruits n actually a little leather. Very tasty yet nit the typical pinot for me. — 13 days ago
Weird. Hits all the expected notes of high acid with floral sweetness and syrupy mouthfeel, but ends with a little bit of bitter tang. Used some in a cocktail and that worked great. — 15 days ago
Black tea and raspberry right up in your nose....dark fruit with earth and underbrush meeting your palate which leads instantly to bitter orange. Rather concentrated and remarkable, @ 13.5%!! — 2 days ago
