Big plum, blackberry, and dark cherry flavors. Black pepper. Plenty of zippiness. A bit of earthiness. Delicious with pizza. Excellent wine. — 4 days ago
Had a ruby color. Smelled like red berries and tasted like cherry or blackberry. — a month ago
Coffee, raspberry, and leather. Rich and a little sharp but not too much. — 17 hours ago
Absolutely fantastic, tannins resolved but great nose, fruit intact with a long wonderful finish. Best Larkmead I’ve ever had! — 3 months ago
The epitome of smooth and majestic.
Not easy to find on the secondary market, but worth securing a bottle at the right price. Notes of mocha and espresso on the nose and mid-palate segue to polished tannins and moderate acidity. The capstone is a nice balanced weight and mouthfeel. Never disappointed with this botting. — 4 months ago

Medium bodied with sediment, this wine had a complexity of different distinct flavors and aromas. Cedar, black cherry, cocoa, cranberries, and some pepper among others. Medium to high tannins, with sediment after 8 years it could continue to lay down for years. Well balanced and very smooth with a finish that lingers. — a day ago
