Really enjoyed this. Like a nice Chardonnay — a year ago
Much more enjoyable than the 2016. Deep ruby color. Black pepper, tar and late-season lilac on the nose. Medium-body but layered flavor with granite, vanilla, crushed red pepper and old boot leather...kind of a salty finish. I don’t remember how much I paid for this, but whatever it was, I would have paid more. Fantastic! — 6 years ago

Interesting indigenous grape. You might think Cab Franc, Syrah, especially from the nose, but for all it’s bruising, it’s light,
11.5° rarely exceeding 12°. Bright dark cherries, minimal tannins, just enough for pasta with meat. With a slight chill, a really nice summer quaff. — 4 days ago
