My first intro to Croation refosco. Crazy good. Parmesan behind perfume behind sweet oak behind granite behind menthol behind sweet bardyard funk; and that’s just the nose. Did I say crazy good? Yeah.

Kirsch, strong espresso and dark chocolate. Port like yet dry. Complex, funky & intriguing with rich & spicy acidity and enough substance to be complete. A fantastic discovery...

Good balance of sweet and savoury fruit. Plums, black berry, black olives, bit of mulch. Really interesting wine. The sommelier suggested opening 30-60 minutes before drinking to let the oak calm down a little. It is fairly heavily oaked but given enough time it integrates well.
