Well done Nebbiolo! — 2 years ago
Best Negroni I've had: Plymouth gin and Scarpa vermouth. — 9 years ago
Velvety from start to finish but not too heavy. I must have had a different vintage versus others below because I felt subtle acid made for a good mouthfeel - so soft on the palate it was a pleasure to drink. Recommended as a substitute for another Lange Nebbiolo and didn’t disappoint. — 2 years ago
Very much enjoyed but something held it back from loving. I think it lacked a little richness to be really a top notch wine. That being said had a mild sweetness and bite and will definitely get again. — 6 years ago
2010 has lots of acidities and lots of fruit still not fully merged with the structure, therefore it is still top heavy and slightly unbalanced. It still possesses the sense of authority, integrity and completeness all great wines have. — 7 years ago
Would like to have this abut fresher. Raspberry, orchids, tar, black tea, some raisins. Almost like a cocktail of Nebbiolo, burgundy and amarone. Lots of fun with lamb neck ragu — 8 years ago
This was staff pick at Bacon's in Hudson. Dry, in a good way. Very good. — 9 years ago

My first Freisa! Loving the Nebbiolo-like structure and body. — 10 years ago
This wine shows a medium dark ruby color in the glass. The nose is clean and savory, with dark fruit shining through a haze of earthy tones. On the palate, the flavor of bright red cherries takes charge. It is a fresh mouthful with zippy acidity and gentle tannins. Among the winery’s recommendations for pairing is eel, which is maybe the oddest pairing suggestion I’ve ever seen on a winery website. It does sound good, though. I had mine with a soppressata sandwich slathered with some spicy black olive tapenade, and it was great.

Dyp rød farge med fiolett skjær. Først lukket duft av alkohol og lær, åpner seg med kirsebær og fiken. Smak av det samme, samt litt krydder. Fin syre og balanserte tanniner. Ypperlig til lasagne! — 6 years ago
Wow, still could age more but spectacular — 7 years ago
Dry Brachetto. Bright, easy drinking, very versatile. Pretty nose - strawberry, red cherry, roses . Reminded me of frappato — 7 years ago
Medicinal and savory, opening up to an almost Burgundian prettiness about two hours in. It didn’t last, but altogether fascinating (if not consistently pleasurable). — 8 years ago
Powerful, medium bodied Barolo, with lots of texture, exquisite notes of spice, dark fruit, and lively acidity. Delightful with pork loin, making for a memorable winter evening. — 9 years ago

Absolutely excellent. Aromatics actually faded a bit with a 1.5 hour decant, so might watch that in the future. Lots of earthy cherry. Not overly refined, but in a good way - tastes like the older school piemonte that it is, with just the right bit of earth and leather. Excellent acid and a long pure finish. Great pairing with Kinderhook pork chops with a porchetta style seasoning. — 7 months ago
