Wow! That’s some fancy wine. Berry berry good. — 4 years ago
This is sensational. The nose is suppressata, oregano, and sun dried tomato. The mouth is fuller bodied perfect balance of cherries, fresh acidity, and smooth tannin. Love this producer. — 5 years ago
Man, this is a powerhouse. Can’t believe it had 14 year so far age because it still packs a punch, and is very dense and tannic. Leather, cigar box, cherry compote. Very interesting that they don’t harvest til mid-November, probably explains the concentration! — 5 months ago
Ruby in color with a wide reddish/ brick rim.
Nice nose and medium plus in body.
Dry on the palate with medium plus acidity.
Showing red and black fruits with light wood, tobacco leaf, herbs, peppercorn, pencil lead, dark coffee, dark chocolates and earth.
Long finish with round tannins and tangy raspberries.
This 7 year old Sangiovese from Montepulciano is elegant and robust. Feels big, yet not in your face kind of wine.
Well balanced with nice complexity and mouthfeel. The high alcohol is well integrated.
This Single Vineyard will continue to age nicely in the next 10 years.
